Afspaending
The word "afspaending" is Danish, and it translates to unbuckling. In this massage technique gentle acupressure is employed along with passive stretches to expand the body. The hands on segment naturally leads to the movement segment in which the client is instructed in stretching and relaxation movements. Gradually, restrictive or painful habitual patterns are replaced with efficient, comfortable ways of moving. The goal is to assist the client in relaxing and to improve his or her overall functioning.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all glands, organs, and body parts. By using a unique thumb/finger walking technique, pressure is applied to these reflex areas. Reflexology reduces body tension, enhances relaxation, and aids the body's ability to heal.
